Burger Challenge! (Part 2)

Our burger adventure continues! We brought my sister-in-law Kait to join in on the fun today!

Now one would think that a burger challenge would be pretty straightforward. But it is tricky business and there are unforeseen curve balls being thrown our way! We decided that we were going to go to Bitter Creek Brewery today. We got there and were seated and given our menus. They have a whole sleeve dedicated to bugers of all kinds of flavors! After deliberating which one to get and making our orders we have to receive the heart shattering news that there were no more burgers!

NO MORE BURGERS?! Oh the shame! We had no choice but to part ways because this is, after all, a burger challenge, and nothing else on the menu would do. We redirected and went to Coyote Creek Steakhouse instead, where I am happy to announce did in fact have burgers. Even buffalo burgers at that!

Coyote Creek is very much an upscale resturant. We were seated, a pitcher of root beer and little loaves of bread. The bread was so incredibly delicious! Coyote Creek has dim lighting and is very cozy. I don't come to this resturant very often but it is a very welcoming place. Our waiter was awesome. He was very friendly! So even though our plans got switched I still really enjoyed tonight!

And now our selfies!

Mother's Day

I'm a sap for holidays. I enjoy them so much and even more so, now that I have children. My favorites are the obscure holidays like teacher appreciation day. This week on Tuesday, "Hooked on Phonics" released their fifty dollar app for free in show of teacher appreciation day! I was so excited but sadly it was nine at night and the deal was no longer going. I was so bummed that I missed it and didn't understand why their one day deal had ended at nine instead of midnight! I sent them an email asking this. Of course, I didn't expect a response I was just hopeful. Than on Wednesday I got an email back saying that they had some problems and were extending the sale! Those people are generous!! I was so happy and now James has a fancy new app to maneuver.

Of course this week was also Mother's Day. Which in recent years has made its climb into my list of favorite holidays. I absolutely love being a mom and lots of love goes out to my mom and step mom who both helped me learn what to do to become a mom. My boys are my world and I am so blessed to be able to stay home with them and raise them. I am very thankful to my husband for his support for me.

I was also very excited about my gifts! :) My husband knows what I like best, anything that make this mommy job a little bit easier. He bought me a dryer to match my washer. It has a steam setting on it, which is so cool! Mother's Day also had great timing with my upgrade. Verizon was taking $100 off of smart phones and I was able to buy the new iPhone! I am so excited to take pictures of my family since that tends to be a huge use of my cell phone! I also brought my boys into bed with Sunday morning and got some of my favorite snuggles! Mother's Day wouldn't be complete without chocolate. Yum! Then I got a surprise from my dad and Carole. They bought be a necklace with my boys names and birthstones. I love it so much!

I got extremely spoiled and I have no idea what I am going to do for Father's Day! I am glad this is not a competition because I would lose! I will just have to get clever and crafty with the boys. I think going for unique may be my best bet.

The rest of the week had been pretty basic except for Saturday. First we got to go to a puppy birthday party for the son of one my good friends. Than Matt and I went on our first date night since Peter was born! It was by the suggestion of my dad and it was a lot of fun. Peter and James did great with grandpa which makes me super happy!

This week has been a lot of fun. It's crazy to look back on a week and see what we have done and that's why I love writing this blog. There are so many things I would forget. Thank you to my boys, my man, and my family for making me feel blessed and loved.
